The Crockett Foundation's 1st Annual Diamond Ball Charity Event to Benefit Broward Children's Center and the Diabetes Research Institute

HOLLYWOOD, FL (01.20.10) – On Tuesday evening February 2, 2010, the glitz and glamour of South Beach will converge upon The Clevelander Hotel located at 1020 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach, FL when former NFL players Henri & Zack Crockett welcome scores of celebrities, athletes and philanthropists to the Inaugural Diamond Ball Charity Cocktail Reception during one the most anticipated games of the year, Super Bowl XLIV™.
The Crockett Foundation has selected two deserving organizations, Broward Children’s Center and the Diabetes Research Institute (DRI) to be beneficiaries of the proceeds generated from the Inaugural Diamond Ball Charity event.
“The Crockett Foundation is committed to serving the communities in which we live and raising awareness on issues that affect our communities directly, and we want the South Florida community to come out, have a great evening and assistthe Crockett Foundation in raising awareness forthe Broward Children Center and the Diabetes Research Institute,” states Henri Crockett, Founder of the Crockett Foundation.
Recently the Crockett Foundation has refocused its mission to raising community awareness about health & wellness issues that affect so many communities in South Florida and Henri Crockett, Founder of the Crockett Foundation wants to make sure that he and his brother, Zack are leading the way in educating the community through their Annual Health & Community Awareness Festival. Over the years the Crockett Foundation has provided educational scholarships for deserving students and created safe havens within the community where students can come and receive remedial education, tutorial assistance and mentoring programs.
