Cynthia Y. Palermo, NHA joined Broward Children’s Center’s Children’s Comprehensive Care Center in October, 2006. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Eastern Kentucky University and has been a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in Florida for over 23 years. In 1995, she earned the prestigious Administrator of the Year Award from the Florida Health Care Association and was honored by the Orange Bowl Committee and the Miami Herald as “Hero of the Hurricane” for her efforts during Hurricane Andrew. She currently serves on the Florida Health Care Association’s Board of Directors and the Aldersgate Board of Directors.

For more than 37 years, Broward Children’s Center has been providing medical, educational, and advocacy services to infants, children, and young adults with special needs.
