Debbie Thompson joined Broward Children’s Center’s as the first social worker in­ January 1986. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work from Ohio University. Prior to coming to Broward Children's Center, Debbie worked for the State of Ohio and the State of Florida. Debbie provides case management services, social services, and referrals to Children’s Comprehensive Care residents and their families.

For more than 37 years, Broward Children’s Center has been providing medical, educational, and advocacy services to infants, children, and young adults with special needs.
