Fifth Annual Miles For Smiles Charity Walk

Come join us for our biggest fundraiser of the year! The walk is April 12 at the Pompano Beach Air Park. The event starts at 9am sharp; check in begins at 8:30. Ask friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers to sponsor you with a supportive pledge donation. Registration is $20 before April 12th and $25 on the day. Walkers can choose to raise funds using the attached pledge form or through their registration fee donation. Children under 10 are free. Why not walk with friends or family and sign up as a team? Families of two adults and two children over 10 walk for $60 and teams of five walk for $80 and save $20. Sign up today, we'd love to see you there!

Volunteers are also needed the day of the event to set up and hand out information. Please contact Giselle to sign up.

Support Groups

Mother's Support Group

Mom’s group is a great opportunity to meet other mothers who understand the challenges of raising children with special needs. Join us to learn about resources and relax in a safe and supportive environment. For more information, email lindas@bcckids.org or call 954.783.8347.

Grandparent's Support Group

Grandparent’s group provides a great opportunity to meet other grandparents who understand the challenges and stages one goes through when raising grandchildren with special needs.  Join us to learn about resources and relax in a safe and supportive environment. SibShop

SibShops are groups designed for the brothers and sisters of children with special needs. This group provides your child with an opportunity to meet other siblings and talk about their experiences and feelings in a fun, educational and supportive environment. Parent Enrichment Group

This group is a 5 week session beginning February 28th through March 28th. Every Wednesday from 6:00 to 7:30pm all parents of children with special needs are welcome to come and have dinner and share feelings, challenges, and resources related to their child with special needs. Each week will have a new topic and guest speaker. Child care will be provided at the Respite Home upon advanced request.
