POMPANO BEACH FL (11-23-05) – Ramon M. Flores, an experienced skilled nursing facility professional has been named Administrator of the Children’s Comprehensive Care Center (CompCare).
As Administrator, Flores will oversee operations of the CompCare facility, the only free standing pediatric skilled nursing facility in the South Eastern United States.
Flores most recently served as Assistant Administrator for Plantation Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. In addition to assisting in the day-to-day operations of the 152-bed facility, Flores headed that organization’s human resources department.
Flores has a decade of human resources experience, much of it in the skilled nursing field. He has successfully navigated annual State Surveys and re-Surveys and has received commendations for Medicaid Audit work. Flores has worked in skilled nursing facilities ranging in size from 152 to 325 beds and for organizations such as Planned Parenthood, Sunrise Health Center, and Meadowbrook Manor.
In addition to being a licensed Nursing Home Administrator Ramon has a Masters in Public Administration from Nova University and a BA in Political Science from FIU. He has spent time in London, Amsterdam, and Paris as a Regent College Scholar; has interned in the Philippine Senate; and is a former Jeopardy contestant. Flores has two children with his wife, Ada.
