CompCare Names Luly Director of Nursing

Marie Luly DON

POMPANO BEACH FL (6-01-07) – The Children’s Comprehensive Care Center (CompCare) has named Marie Luly as its new Director of Nursing.

Luly has nearly three decades of experience in the health care field, including extensive expertise in emergency services and pediatric care.

In her new role, Luly will oversee CompCare’s nursing department and its’ care of 36 of the nation’s most medically fragile infants, children and young adults.

"I'm delighted to have the chance to work with CompCare’s talented pediatric team and excited to help lead their efforts to further improve the quality of life of children with special needs.”

CompCare remains the only free standing pediatric skilled nursing facility in the South Eastern United States. The facility has recently been renovated to include a state of the art nursery for medically fragile infants.

Luly, a Registered Nurse, most recently served as the Emergency Services Adult and Pediatrics Director at Jackson North Medical Center. A graduate of Barry University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Service Administration, Luly also has a Masters in Business Administration with a specialization in Health Service Administration from Nova Southeastern University.

Luly has also served as Director of the Pediatric Unit and PICU for Parkway Regional Medical Center where she was the Hospitals Ombudsman for four years.
