"Volunteers are the only human beings on the face of the earth who reflect this nation's compassion, unselfish caring, patience, and just plain love for one another"- Erma Bombeck
Broward Children's Center is always looking for volunteer partners to help us in our mission to give the children we serve the highest quality of life possible. We have many opportunities available, including but not limited to:
- Academic mentoring
- Reading
- Games and Activities
- Arts and crafts
- Administrative assistance
- Special Projects
- Fundraising
You can help make a difference in the lives of the children we serve just by spending time with them. We welcome volunteers to share their talents, hobbies, and interests with our residents.
Volunteers must meet a minimum age requirement of 16 for the safety of our very medically fragile residents. Orientations are normally given Tuesdays at 10:30am and Thursdays at 3:30pm on a rotating basis. Please click here for an updated orientation calendar; you must register to attend.
