Comprehensive Social Services at Broward Children's Center

Social Services offered at Broward Children’s Center provide ongoing support to the infants, children, young adults, and families that we serve. Our Social Services department connects clients with beneficial community partners, as well as provides support groups to parents and families.

Additional on-site and in-home services include:

  • Information and Referrals
  • Community Outreach

All BCC Social Service team members belong to the Inter-Agency Support Services Committee, a collaboration of local agencies: the Ann Stork Center, the Achievement and Rehabilitation Center, Children’s Diagnostic and Treatment Center, United Cerebral Palsy, and the Nova Baudhuin Oral School.

The Medical Care Support Services (MCSS) Program at Broward Children’s Center supports caregivers in navigating through the complicated process of coordinating appointments, accessing evaluation services (ie Psychosocial, Developmental and Nutritional assessments) as well as provides health education and overall support to the entire family.
